Redirection dont work

Hello. I installed myred in webroot directory, i have wilcard dns active and virtualhost with server name mydomain and alias *.mydomain
My problem is than if ia call the redirection xxx.mydomain i am not redirect, always open the webroot page. I create a redirection to www.google.com from xxx.mydomain.com and open the file index2.htm of my document root, that is my first page of my domain but dont open google

I am using apache 1.3 php 4.6 as module and cgi.
My web is www.costaoeste.net and the subdomain is http://prueba.costaoeste.net . Always open the same page, the page is when dont exist the subdomain.

have you got the .htaccess file and index.php in the root ?

Yes the .htaccess file and index.php file are in the domain document root directory.

just wondered as if you spell index2.htm wrong like index2.ht you get a 404 error with the htaccess in there it should take you back to your main page

The file .htaccess is working!!! but when i call to a subdomain this dont open, allways open the index2.htm of my document root
