The source code looks ok. Did you change something in the php files?

have you got the .htaccess and index.php in the root. just that normally if you have it there and typed a wrong url in it takes you back to the index yours just 404's

http://www.sg5.co.uk/shorturl/register.php would work fine if i took p off the end http://www.sg5.co.uk/shorturl/register.ph it would auto load index.htm and no 404 error

Hi, Scooby.
When you say root, do you mean HIGHER than public_html or inside public_html ?

inside the public_html folder

forgot to login :D

so for example in the public_html folder you would have

.htaccess
index.php
index.html
subdomain folder / with myred files in

seeing as you have changed the templates can you log into admin and select the default templates.

just another thing to check to rule out a code error in template pages

i just tryed to register all worked fine but once i got the activation email and clicked on it it didnt activate the account.

have you edited any of the php code? or changed something by mistake.

if might be worth deleteing it all and the database and reinstalling testing the default layout first. Then trying your templates as its easy to switch between the two

Hi, may i know which file contains the information for the URL that is sent to you after you register ?

Because i changed the folder name to "subdomain" , and in the activation email i noticed that the link is to the folder "myred" thus, where do i change it ?

its in the language file english.php line 59

you also have to edit the index.php and change it there for the vars.php and functions.php about 4 and 5 line down

Btw, after i added the .htaccess and index.php file to my webroot, i now automatically get redirected to my subdomain service site when i try to visit www.78y.net

What do i have to do to stop that ?
