Release 1.4 will work with php 4.1 and above.

Is it possible to test if the webserver uses "wildcard DNS"
I am afraid it does´nt. Is there a way to make it work anyway ?

Yes, if www.taftea.com is your domain, just type in dsffsdfsdf.taftea.com, and it must lead to the same page as www.taftea.com.
But I'm afraid, taftea.com isn't wildcarded. Ask your hosting provider about this, I'm sure, they will set the domain wildcarded if you want it.

It is set up so that if I make a directory in the root it can becalled as a a subdomain i.e In the directory bmw I have a index.htm and if I type
www.bmw.taftea.com it opens up the indexfile like a subdomain.
Will your script work if it is like that if they change it to Wildcarded" ?
It is sad if it is does´nt work. I really like your script.

I just visited the link, and it should work, because if your server doesn't find the directory, it shows a "404 not found" error.
But you have to use the .htaccess file, which is included in the zip package, and which does the 404 handling.

My host provider claims taftea.com is wildcarded ? \and say it is'nt ?

Just try to install the scripts and use the .htaccess included in the zip file.
I could imagine that the scripts work...

I give up...

The redirection does´nt work
My own home.html shows up when trying typing in the registered redirection.
Try www.test.taftea.com
I have the included .htacess + index.php + the myred myred diectory in the root.
Mysql seems to work as it writs the data for the redirection.
Wildcard DNS is enabled according to my host ?

Please help me

It's your hosts fault: every subdomain leads to a directory which has the same name as the subdomain.
Choose another host

In a way it is nice to have it set up like that by my host...
If I make a directory named "bmw" and have a index.htm in there I get a subdomain with the adress www.bmw.taftea.com

Is there a way to go around that and make your script work ?

I once wrote a script that managed exactly this thing (it was for invite.net).
But I don't know how your host manages this automatism.
