How do I initiate a subdomain?

Hi,

I've already installed the software and completed the setup process and wildcard domain is enabled.

The main domain name is http://www.lincolncc.org and I'd like to make a subdomain called kinship.lincolncc.org so that my kinship.htm file gets redirected to kinship.lincolncc.org ; how do I make it happen? please visit the indicated url and advise; thanks

Hi-

I'm still struggling with this sub domain thing - I'm unable to register: In the registration form, under "Enter target url" I enter our web site's url which is http//:www.lincolncc.org but it says " it contains forbidden words". Please help!

Then first you have to look at the "forbidden words" in the admin area.

Hi Alex,

I did check out the word censor section in the admin panel but I don't see anything close to lincolncc.org so why is it not working for me. I was able to follow through reading the readme file but there's no detail instructions on the admin and registration part. I'm getting frustrated -

Try to put just 1 "forbidden word" in it, hkjhjkhjkhjhk for example.

Okay no matter what I put in "word censors' going through admin panel, I'm still unable to register. Can I send you an email with my id and passcode so that you could see what problem i'm running into? thanks

I just configured the scripts and registered the subdomain kinship.lincolncc.org for testing purposes. You may login into this subdomain account at
http://www.lincolncc.org/myred/members.php
using kinship.lincolncc.org as domain name and ******(I told you the password by email) as password. It leads to www.lincolncc.org/kinship.htm
What you did wrong: in the admin area, you set kinship.lincolncc.org as domain for your subdomain service - that was wrong, I deleted it.
You also didn't set any category, I just set one "general" category in order to get the scripts work.
The subdomain kinship (kinship.lincolncc.org) has to be registered here: http://www.lincolncc.org/myred/register.php - not in the admin area.
