Hello Alex, and Everybody here! :)

I see you are going to relise a new version 8)

Looks nice! Can I beta-test it?

BTW, are you sure about "Login/logout via cookie"? Not all the browsers support cookies...

Also, how about sub.sub.domain.com thing in Member area? Say, only owner of sub.domain.com can creat some additional accounts like sub.sub.domain.com and point them to other urls?
(Becouse of stupid database structure, its nearly imposible at co.nr)

OK, I'll contact you somehow later, I have many Ideas :)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! :D

I see that co.nr works again! How did you manage this?
For the sub.sub.domains - not for this release, I need to be compatible with myred 1.2.
And I use cookies, because of security reasons some webspace providers install php as cgi, and then the php authentication doesn't work.
But please, post more suggestions!

Hello again :)

Uh, how did I manage? - I am not quite sure myself :D
And to be serious, not at the public forum..

And regarding cookies... why not use sessions? It works OK.
Also about email redirection, it will work, I am nearly sure
Required:
-dedicated IP
-record in DNS
-and your idea :)

Well, I face one problem now - SPAM (users spam from time to time),
and its a big problem

BWT, you are living in Austria, arent you? Can you please PM me, about anti-spam rules in Europe, I've heard they are not so strict in Europe as in USA. (I need a hosting provider, urgently)

In USA the only way I found is to move every month.. and dont accept potential spammers (review accounts manually) - hard work :(

In the new release, I have a feature that no other redirecton scripts has (as far as I know): you can check the users "real" homepage for forbidden words like fu.., hackz, warez and so on.
I think this should help a little bid to get rid of unwanted users
And for the cookies: as far as I am informed, php automatically uses sessions when the browser doesn't accept cookies.
Some antispam links: http://www.rtr.at/web.nsf/englisch/startseite?Opendocument and http://europa.eu.int/information_society/topics/telecoms/regulatory/new_rf/index_en.htm

Let me guess: fopen + regs? or I am wrong
Well, actually I was thinking about checking, but for another propose.. Say, script checks if the user has placed a link back to service, and if he hasnt, it will load a popup or a frame with banner.

The problem here -> The user's website may be done using frames. I beleive, it will not work with them...

I have a question. Are you going to make detailed "Domain stats" in Members Area (hits/day, referals, ets.), or just total number of visits?

And thanks for links!

it will be sort of average stats for a certain number of days.
And of course: you can never be secure about anything

Almost a year has passed by since this thread was started. I miss sub.sub - domain function too. Do you have any plans about it?
`
I haven't had the script long enough to check out the statistics, but I think I would like the opportunity to e-mail my users their stats too.
