MySQL V5 Syntax Errors

Postby webbiz » Mon Feb 20, 2006 8:21 am

I first tried using the install script to a V5 MySQL DB but the tables wouldn’t completely install due to a couple version syntax errors. I then tried installing to V4 and had no trouble doing so.

V5 isn't used much yet so this is simply a heads up.

Found an example error message from tring to use MySQL V5.

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'release varchar(10) NOT NULL default '')' at line 1
