main domain with a dash ...ok??

I have a main domain name like

www.my-own-domain.com

Shouls this work anyway?? I have all the requisites , installed smoothhy, created a subdomain, once called ..not working!

So I ma just wondering if it is because the bla-bla-.com domain name I have that make the script not working!

When you say its not working what isnt working ?

i take it you have wildcard dns set up
