Hi again, could i just be sure that this is correct, i place the index.php and the .htaccess on the main ftp of my website.
For example i type in ftp.lightspear.com enter my stuff and then when inside place these files on the main page, and place the folder on the main page to.

Is this correct - just wanner make sure.

Also how long does it take to make a site work for the sub-domain to actually be able to register?

in your root you should have

index.php
.htaccess

and your mainpage

then your myred folder with all the myred folders in it.

once its set up the redirection works as soon as the account is activated via email or manual depending how u set it up.

By email? i never got a email, i mean when setting up the PHP script btw

forgot to log in on last post.

once its set up it works straight away..setup normally takes 5 -10 mins max

asuming you have wildcard dns set up on the server.

the email part is only if you have it set that way in admin so users click on a link to activate there account

Ok let me get to the point, my website is http://www.lightspear.com - is that a wildcarded?

Do i need a DNS to point to a certain thing?
