Here'e what my web host said when asking about wildcards

I asked my webhost to enable wildcards for me and this is what they said:

Sorry we do not know what wildcards are?

Wildcard means * in SQL.

Therefore, I have no idea what script and whatever. You need to ask them
specifically what they need enabled

So if anybody knows how to word what needs to be done so that they may enable them, or if someone knows a link that may assist my webhost please let me know. I will probably need step by step instructions

You have to let enable wildcarded subdomains (sorry for my english, it's too early...).
Every call fo any subdomain must lead to your web root directory.
