language modules

Postby joysky » Sun Jan 26, 2003 7:06 pm

Hi,

Thank you so much for the great script. It's working like a charm.

I do have a question regarding the language files.

say if i want to use german instead of the default english version, how do I specify that in the setup?

Can I use multiple languages at the same time?

Thanks

Brian

Well, this is a little bit confusing: by default, english is set to be the language, except the website visitor comes with a "german speaking" browser, then german is the language which appears to the visitor.
I will change this in the next release: the admin has to set one language, and this one will be used by the scripts.
This change has been requested because of the following reason: it's quite confusing, when an (only) english speaking webmaster appears to be speaking another language (because the website appears to be in german), and gets mails or smth similar in foreign languages.
So, in the next release, the webmaster will only be able to use one language.

Thanks for the reply.

For now, I just change the file name of the translation to eninc.php and it works me.

Thanks again
