Changing HTML Files to PHP Files

How can i amke it so i can use <?include ("home.php") ?> because i amde my site in php and i wana put in the nav bars banner etc.. how would i go about doing so? Thank you my site btw is

If you already have a file called "index.php" or "index.html" in your web root,
rename it (for example "index2.php" or better "home.php" or "home.html") and use this one.
You can still use the now called "index2.php"/"home.php"/"home.html" as your default startpage

can i make the index.php page u gave me 2 index2.php and leave my regular index.php alone? or does the index.php u gave have to stay index.php? btw nice setup man i fixed it lol i forgot to add a domain why it didnt let me add a sote b4

You can rename my index.php to something else, for example "start.php".
But this "start.php" must be the first file called in your webroot.
To do so, you can add the filename to the .htaccess file like this:

Why do you want to do so anyway? There is no reason for renaming them.
And I don't have any messenger program.

Blarge Never mind... do u know how to include a page in php with the basic setup like <?include ("navbar.php") ?> but for html?
