Do you make money?

I saw in many pages offering redirection service stating "no banner!" "no pop-up", etc. So I was wandering if you really do some money with this service. (and how?)
Just curious, i was seeking for this service just for a small group of people that have extremely long url's of their universitys personal pages.

I wont use one with pops or adds, but yes you can make money i wouldnt say alot depends what you are after really use google adds or simlar and you can make enough to cover hosting so it isnt costing you anything todo.

But if you don't include banners or pop-ups in other sites, what do you do to have ads? Only in your site?
